Travel along the Karakorum Highway, stopping along the way to take pictures of the beautiful scenery. You can also stop to meet some Kyrgyz people selling their goods on the roadside. We will enjoy lunch in a local Kyrgyz yurt next to Karakul Lake and have some time to walk around or ride camels before returning to Kashgar.

Travel from Kashgar to the Khunjirab Pass along the Karakorum Highway to see majestic mountains and lakes. Stop at Karakul Lake for lunch in a Kyrgyz yurt before traveling on to Tashkorgan to visit the Tajik Cultural Relic Mueseum and Stone Fort. Finally, visit the Khunijerab Pass where China borders Pakistan, the highest border crossing in the world.

Enjoy a one day trip outside the city and into the great Taklimakan Desert. Dawakul, literally meaning "cure lake", is about 130kms from Kashgar and has been a famous area for local Uyghurs who go there to swim in the small lake and bury themselves in the desert sands which is believed to bring healing for different ailments. Here we will take a short camel trek into the sand dunes.
